Traveled into a little small town province in Bicol region. Where the roots of my grandmother has been born. To be honest, it’s been almost 12 years since the last time I came here, still though it has been so long the richness of tranquility the town is known for hasn’t even changed in one bit. People here are nice and generous, all the same living a peaceful life.
Though I had only one day to stay here. I must say, I sure toured the best spots of Daet.
This is the St. Peter the Apostle Church (also known as the Parroquia de San Pedro Apostol) the oldest church in Camarines, Norte. Unfortunately, the church has been destroyed by a fire last Dec. 26, 2012..So, as you can see in this picture. This was only, that was left by the legendary church of the province.
BAGASBAS BEACH known as the surfing spot of the province.
Of course, I wouldn’t end my Bicol tour without having the taste of the finest delicacies of the province.
August: Osage County: Hailed as the “ Family Drama From Hell” focuses on the Weston’s, a modern day, middle-class Oklahoma family whose members are all intelligent, sensitive creatures with the uncanny ability to make each other absolutely miserable. When the patriarch of the family mysteriously disappears, the Weston clan has an unplanned family reunion that leads to several revelations and relentless realizations that shatters its family members more than glue them together.
The play has really very darkly comedic dramatic effect in it. You really wouldn’t want to missed this show for it was cast as one of the great veteran actors and actresses in the Philippines with the likes of Pinky Amador, Liesl Batucan, Baby Barredo, Shiela Francisco and so on…
So, what are you waiting for…Catch the final weekend of August: Osage County at Repertory Philippines: Onstage, Theater, Greenbelt 1. Paseo de Roxas, Makati.

Well, you all know that this is one of the most popular musical play of all time. I’m really glad our province could actually organized such a lovely musical with competitive cast. Although, the venue and equipments are not that techy and real theater life set. At least Quezon Province has something to be proud of and that is we have amazing actors and singers from our province.
For those of you who are not familiar with The Sound Of Music.

Often in trouble and doing the wrong things, Maria is sent to the house of a retired naval captain, named Captain Von Trapp, to care for his children. Von Trapp was widowed several years before and was left to care for seven ‘rowdy’ children. The children have run off countless governesses. Maria soon learns that all these children need is a little love to change their attitudes. “Family is a group of people who decided to live together, not only to survive, but to love one another, not only for a moment, but for a lifetime”
It is a Fun Run activity that literally throws colored powder at you along the route. You can actually have your own colored powder and enjoy it yourself.
This is the first ever Fun Run activity that’s been organized in Quezon Province that deals with colors. Although, it’s been quiet popular in Manila for sometime now. I’m glad having this kind of event would definitely help boost the Quezon Province Tourism Campaign.
Quezon Color Run: District Leg 2 will be held on March 22, 2014 at 3:30 PM at SM Lucena Parking Lot, Lucena City Quezon.
“There will also be an EARTH HOUR after the race at 8pm”
